The city of Gotham is a utopia for criminals, as the corrupt legal system does little to stop their tyrannical rampage. That is, until a mysterious killer murders Johnny Vitti, the son of a notorious mob boss. This vigilante targets the corrupt law enforcement and criminals alike, striking on holidays and sending Gotham’s underground into pandemonium. Will the criminals stand up to this antihero, or will their infrastructure crumble at the first hiccup?

Miles Clark

Crisis Director

Miles Clark is a third-year double major in Environmental Studies (B.S) and Animal Husbandry (B.S). He is from San Rafael, CA, and in his free time he enjoys wingsuiting through the streets of rural South American countries. He is an avid sports gambler, and frequently rigs Gambian curling championships in order for his parlays to hit. He works at the Santa Barbara zoo, and can be found officiating cross-species animal weddings on weekends. Miles is literally Batman, owning 7 distinct Batman cosplays, and is thrilled to take method acting way too far as Crisis Director of this committee.

JOSH Whitesel

Crisis Director

Josh Whitesel is a third-year Communication and Film and Media Studies student from Sacramento, CA. He is also the Communications Chair for the REALITY UCSB filmmaking club, where he tries to get his genre pastiche films made. He has been a Batman fan ever since seeing the Adam West show as a young boy and has seen Robert Pattinson's The Batman more than almost any other movie. He is an avid baseball fan and if you say anything bad about the Giants he will cry (and probably agree with you).

Mariam Ghallab

Mariam Ghallab is a fourth-year student majoring in political science major with an emphasis in International Relations. This is her second year doing Model UN and she is excited to serve as the Director of Community Outreach and introduce more people to the fun and challenging activity that is MUN. She has attended TrojanMUN, UCBMun, and LAMUN. One of the reasons Mariam enjoys MUN is because it has transformed her into a confident public speaker. In her free time, Mariam loves listening to music, talking about astrology, and hanging out with her friends. After college, she hopes to go to Law School and become the best criminal defense attorney out there (please hit her up if you’re about to get arrested in 10 years, she’ll give you a discount).

Om Angarkar is a third year at UCSB pursuing a Political Science major, and spends his time fishing, eating, and singing in his local college band called The Radar. His favorite characters in the Gotham universe include Joker, The Riddler, and Nightwing. He is mighty excited to explore this universe with fellow delegates, and maintaining his number 1 goal of having fun along the way.
