Secretary General
April Zhang
April Zhang is a third-year Environmental Studies and Sociology double major from Shenzhen, China. She immediately fell in love with Model UN when she joined this wonderful, family-like team as a freshman, and had so much fun serving as the Director of Training over the past year. This year, she is excited to introduce more MUN-loving “nerds” to gorgeous Santa Barbara during the team’s collegiate conference. Outside of MUN, you can catch April advocating for environmental causes, reading, and listening to K-pop. After college, April plans to go to law school, and maybe wind up at the actual UN… who knows?

Director of
External affairs
Jordan Tulak
Jordan is a fourth-year political science and history double major who likes long walks on the beach, piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain. He has been involved in Model UN for three years, having been drawn to the fantastic people in the organization and the convergence of political issues with history. He has his eyes set on law school, and his LSAT scores set on clown college. Jordan spends most of his spare time trying to make wicked bass lines. On a typical day, Jordan can be found in the library researching anything but his homework.

USG of Crisis Committees
Noah Ropp
Noah Ropp is a third-year history major from Santa Clarita, California. He joined the MUN team his second year after school reopened from COVID, and has loved the connections, skills, and friends it's helped him develop since then. He looks forward to trying to expand that opportunity to new people and make them feel at home on the team regardless of experience with MUN (he’d never done it before he joined) in his position as director of recruitment. When he’s not doing MUN, you can catch him leading tours around campus and relaxing with some video games or good food. After college, Noah plans to head to law school and pursue a career in public policy or politics.
